The weather was nice and I got off work at a decent time so I went for a walk.
I decided to go a way I had never gone before, walking along a suburban residential road until I reached the end.
At the end was a cleared area between the houses and trees where the power lines lived.
I walked along this area until I ended up in what appeared to be a back area of the nearby college campus
I walked around a bit until I found an eriee passage into the woods. I walked along it for awhile until I made to this bog.
My greatest mistake was made here. I placed my foot on what I believed to be a solid patch of land, but the reality was not so kind to me
The muddy patch gave way and my left leg slipped all the way in, to my waist. I then had to walk home with a muddy, wet pant leg and a ruined shoe.
It took many days for my shoe to dry. 0/10 Would not reccommend.
